World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also offer rewards and upgrades. The Blacksmith can also sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon gets upgraded, it receives an initial damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. upgrade item may also gain a number of upgrade components, which provide additional attributes or effects, and some have distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. They generally require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and meets certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor, or trinket, but it will not be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.
In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded using a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon the process can be repeated up to four times.
Once the weapon is at the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged with a number of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. Several of these upgrades can be applied at once, and the effects differ based on the rarity of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area, and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
Generally, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, then armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading any other gear. This will increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments, which can be very efficient in increasing a weapon's damage and other stats.

The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. Most armor will upgrade to the next level after an upgrade. The majority of armor types can be upgraded, however some items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.

Upgrades to armor may require multiple attempts, based on the type of armor. If a player is looking to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in an Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense range of between 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Despite popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The reality is that certain armors have very significant enhancements to poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, making them invaluable for specific builds. There are other ways to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
By putting a potion in a stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to unlock more tiers of potency.
The potion also gains a custom color code, that the player can pick by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the potion's particle effects.
The water bottle, a common, thick and awkward potions now have a brand new texture for brewing. Add potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be made with Dragon breath or splash potions. Additionally, there is a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket is an ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace or ring. It could also be a small banner to mark the yard of a boat. It can also refer to a gilded trinket on the mast of a ship.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the denizens of this maze, making them more common. upgrade item at its current level makes all types Xx of mimics more prevalent and gives every floor an probability of Y% that it has an ebony-colored replica. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to influence the dungeon, making it more likely to produce grass and water. At its current level, this trinket can make X% of regular floors filled with water or grass, but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items generated to solve hazard rooms.
The item, which appears like a newt's eyes appears to alter your vision in a way that goes beyond just reducing your field-of-view. At its current level this trinket can increase the total health of the drinkers of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and gives you eyesight on enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket cannot be combined with the Increased Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave After completing the Mastery Cave, you will be able to find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you have a trinket that requires upgrading, place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have an effect on the trinket that is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reforge the trinket as often as you want however it will always have an effect that is new.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by just a little.
