Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to develop certain Pokemon. The Upgrade is obtained by spinning a photo disc. It is sometimes offered as a prize during Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in weapons, armor trinkets, and gathering tools to increase their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, dependent on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, weapons, armors and gathering tools in order to provide attributes bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a specific level. Certain upgrade items come with special visual effects that are visible when they are used. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought from karma traders, traded with other players on the Trading Post, taken from equipment, or obtained as rewards in game.
There are different upgrade components, each with various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions can be used on any kind of equipment. They provide fewer bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enrichments are used for some items that have been ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are slotted into an item, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be inserted into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and replaced.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia will change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). item upgrader of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add decorative and useful elements to an OpenType font. They include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and view these special characters, along with regular symbols like em and en dashes as being trademark symbols that are registered.

Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it is able to be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node for each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
When a Glyph is at the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide the stated bonus and increase the number of nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and this is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus if certain conditions can be fulfilled.
Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each view shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow down the list of glyphs by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process by which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to play an item or character you are interested in. It can be done to level up faster, or to obtain more valuable loot like an additional weapon for your character. Many players roll again until they find the characters they like, regardless of their power. This can be because they like the character's style or personality.
It is important to make clean changes every time you reroll. You should test locally to see if the patch passes the pre-commit test and run a core dev test. You should also upload the patch to an issue with plain diff (see What's the deal with an interdiff? ).
